2 of the best bands in the current underground hardcore punk scene, Oakland, CA's Strung Up and Richmond, VA's Direct Control team up for a killer split. Follow up to records on Kangaroo, Tankcrimes, Feral Ward and No Way Records this is the same shit. Angry and urgent fuckin HC from both bands. This is a ripper.--Interpunk
Brand new split release from these two phenomenal bands on Tank Crimes / No Way Records. If you ask me this may well be the best material by both bands. Strung Up start things off with more of their bad attitude, ultra-aggro hardcore with some of the most memorable vocals out there, and Direct Control follow them up with seven of their most vicious tracks, including "Give It Back" which may well be the most pissed-off song of 2006. Needless to say this record is 100% essential.--SorryState
